In its beginning and its development in the Horasan culture, medicine had its basis in the idea that health is only possible with the unity and balance of spirit and body. In time, medicine changed into a research and application field which is only interested in the body. Although psychology, psychiatry and pedagogy have developed, in a wider perspective, the spiritual possibilities of the human being, which in fact is capable of acquiring and perceiving eternal kowledge have been desregarded.
Especially in the 20th century, the medicine has headed towards completing those missing components.
“From Heart to Medicine, From Medicine to Heart 6 - Preparation for the future seminar” is organized to attain a summary of those endeavors and their historical backgrounds, and to evaluate them in today´s circumstances.
