Ney making and playing class, Yalova Gokcedere / Turkey

August 12–15, 2009

• The first day we will go to the reed bed to visit the reeds in their growing place.
• First with the ordinary reeds(which are not suitable to open as a ney) will be opened as trial neys.
• After coming through the first inexperience times by doing the trial openings, the real ney opening work will start with the good quality reeds.
• There will also be ney blowing education with the neys that will be opened.
• The evening and the night will continue with sohbet and sema.
• This education is open for the participants from all the levels.

7 day 7 night sema, Yalova Gokcedere / Turkey

August 16–23, 2009

This year, the 7 day and night sema will be realized between August 16–23, 2009.

• The sema will take place in Mehmet Rasim Mutlu´s Center in Gokcedere, Yalova, Turkey
• For 7 days and nights the zikir and music will not stop. The sema will go on with at least two semazens turning on the sema floor, at any time.
• In the center there are two seperate dormitory type bedrooms for men and women. Also it is possible to sleep in the area around the sema floor or out in the garden, in your own tent. These are free of charge
• In the center there are seperate toilets and showers for men and women
• Those who wish to can stay in the hotels and pensions around the center. In these case, they will cover their own expenses
• In the center there will be food for twenty four hours. Also everyday, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served
• 7 days and nights sema is a voluntary work and is free of charge. Untill now there are no applications for sponsorship. Those of us who have the possibility and are willing to, will share the expanses
• It is hoped that the participators will have the conciousness of carrying out a voluntary work.

Konya visit, Konya / Turkey

August 24–26, 2009

For the return, a bus will be going from Konya to Istanbul on August 27th. It is planned to be in Istanbul on August 27th, in the evening.
